Abstract
Kerçova is a region in south-west o f Macedonia, and it is inhabited
with laistian and islamic population. Islamic life in this territory dat.es from
14th century and this is testifıed with islamic objects.
Today in this region we have 43 mosques and some tekkes, that are
bııilt from 1396 to 2006 which have elements otoman architecture interlaced
with native elements.
Some o f them are described by professor Ekrem Hakki Ayverdi. in his
book.: Avrupa'da Osmcınli Mimari eri Eserleri,III, İstanbul, 1981.
İn this contribution I hope that I will give a complete description o f these
objects with historical and architectural data.
For this purpose, in 1985-1990 I have investigated this territory, 1
have taken pictures o f these objects and I have collected notes in reference to
the peripeties that these objects have passed through the history.
