Purpose
BAL-TAM (Balkan Turkology Research Center) Journal of Turkic Studies is an internationally refereed journal that started its publication in 2004 and was registered in Paris in 2008. Published twice a year in March and September, BAL-TAM Journal of Turkic Studies encompasses research in the fields of History, Literature, Sociology, Education, Folklore, Fine Arts, Architecture, and Music within the framework of Turkology studies.

Every article uploaded to the BAL-TAM (Balkan Turkology Research Center) Journal of Turkic Studies system is reviewed by section editors and then forwarded to referees based on their expertise. Publication control processes are carried out within the framework of confidentiality, with a focus on double-blind peer review. Articles that complete the referee processes enter the publication process based on their submission dates.
