Kosova’da Turkge egitim ogretim XV. yiizyihn ortalannda, Fatih Sultan II.
Mehmet 1455 yilmda bu topraklari Osmanli Devleti’ne dahil etmekle ba§lami§ ve
guniimiize dek devam etmektedir. Egitim tarihgileri Kosova’da Turkge egitim
ogretimin gelişimini beş doneme ayirmaktadirlar. Kosova’da Turkçe egitim ogretim
gelişen bu beş donemde sinıf ogretmenlerin yetiştirilmesi için de devlet ve toplum
tarafindan farkli desteklemeler ve çalişmalarda bulunmuşlardir. 1912 yilında
Osmanli Devleti Balkan ittifala karsisinda yenilgiye ugradiktan sonra ve Kosova,
once Sirbistan ve sonra Yugoslavya Kralhgi yonetimi altına duştükten sonra,bu
ülkede Turkçe egitim ogretim igin ogretmen kadrosu yetiştirilmesine onem
verilmemeye başlanmiştir. Bundan dolayi ogretmen kadrosunun yetersizligi ve
siyasi ve sosyal nedenlerden dolayi Türkçe egitim ogretimde ogrencilerin
azalmasma ve siniflann ya da okullarm kapanmasina neden olmuştur.
Bu çalışmada Kosova’da Turkçe egitim ogretimin gelişimin her doneminde
ilkokul (sınıf) ogretmenlerin yeti§tirilmesi sürecine açiklik getirilmeye çalişilmiştir.
Turkish education in Kosovo has started with the inclusion of these
territories into Ottoman Empire by Fatih Sultan II. Mehmet in the middle of 15lh
century, namely in 1455 and as such has continued to maintain its existence.
Education historians divide Turkish education in Kosovo into five periods. In these
five years during which Turkish education and training have developed, both the
state and the society have offered different supports and practices with the aim to
train primary school teachers. After Ottoman Empire suffered defeat against the
Balkan Alliance of 1912 and Kosovo has fall under the ruling of Serbia and
subsequently Yugoslavian Kingdom, an importance was given to teacher training for
Turkish education in this country. Henceforth, due to lack of teachers as well as
political and social motives, number of children in Turkish education has reduced
and classes or schools were closed.
This study endeavors to clarify the primary school teacher training at each
period of Turkish education in Kosovo.
