Abstract
1972 yılında İstanbul’da düzenlenen
Türkoloji Kongresi’nde, Yunanistan
Türklerinden Abdurrahman
Dede ile tanışma fırsatı bulduk.
Kongre sırasında, ertesi yıl
Hacıbektaş’ta gerçekleştirilecek
olan ilk uluslararası Bektaşi Sempozyumu’na
yurt dışından Dr. M.
Kiel’in de katılacağını söyledi.
Aynı zamanda, o dönem Yugoslavya’da
bulunmam sebebiyle benim
de sempozyuma katılmam için
davette bulundu. Gerçekten de öyle
oldu. İstanbul’da buluşup, birlikte Ümit Kaftancı ile buluşup üçümüz
Hacıbektaş’a doğru yola çıktık.
Bu sempozyumda Adnan Binyazar, Adnan Birinci ve ve Cahit Öztelli’yle
de tanışmış olduk. Bu görüşmemizden sonra uzun zaman geçti
görüşemedik fakat dostluğumuz, kardeşliğimiz hep sürdü, hâlâ da sürmektedir.
Abdurrahman kardeşim, bir Türk olarak Yunanistan tarafından
arandığı için anavatanı Türkiye’ye sığınmak zorunda kalmıştı. Bu
sebeple bir daha Yunanistan’a geri dönemedi. Oradaki evinin adresini
bana verdi ve Gümülcine’deki ailesini ziyaret etmemi rica etti. Ben de
bu vesileyle, babasıyla ve aynı zamanda Trakyanın Sesi adlı Türkçe gazeteyi
düzenli olarak yayımlayan değerli kardeşi Abdülhalim Dede ile
tanışmak üzere evlerini ziyaret ettim. Bu ziyaret sırasında, Abdurrahman
kardeşimin kaleme aldığı şiir ve öykülerden oluşan el yazması defterini
de teslim aldım. Yazılarını yayımlamayı düşünürken kendisinden
bana hayatıyla ilgili bilgiler iletmesini rica ettim. Bu isteğimi yerine getirdi
ve gerekli bilgileri benimle paylaştı. Henüz kitabını yayımlamamış
olmakla birlikte, bu aşamada onunla ilgili bilgileri ve son mektubunu
yayımlamayı uygun buluyorum.

Abstract
At the Turkology Congress held in Istanbul in 1972, we had the opportunity
to meet Abdurrahman Dede, one of the Turks of Greece. During
the congress, he said that Dr. M. Kiel from abroad would also attend
the first international Bektashi Symposium to be held in Hacıbektaş
the following year. At the same time, he invited me to attend the
symposium since I was in Yugoslavia at the time. And indeed, that was
what happened. We met in Istanbul and met with Ümit Kaftancı together.
The three of us set off for Hacıbektaş. At this symposium, we also
met Adnan Binyazar, Adnan Birinci and Cahit Öztelli. After this meeting,
we could not meet for a long time, but our friendship and brotherhood
always continued. My brother Abdurrahman had to take refuge in
his homeland, Turkey, because he was wanted by Greece as a Turk. For
this reason, he could not return to Greece. He gave me the address of
his house there and asked me to visit his family in Komotini. On this
occasion, I visited his house to meet his father and his dear brother Abdülhalim
Dede, who also regularly published the Turkish newspaper
“Trakyanın Sesi”. During this visit, I also received the manuscript notebook
of poems and stories written by my brother Abdurrahman. While
I was thinking of publishing his writings, I asked him to send me information
about his life. He fulfilled my request and shared the necessary
information with me. Although I have not yet published his book, I find
it appropriate to publish information about him and his last letter at this
stage.
