In the same way, the Naqshbandi, Mevlevi, Kadiri, Sa`di, Rifai and particularly Bektashisects were expanded between the local population and in the towns and cities they built anundetermined number of mausoleums and dervish lodges called tekke.Sarı Saltuk is a prominent figure for the Balkans, especially for the Albanians. He has been a major contribution to bring the language of peace and tolerance to this lands centuries ago. We have to emphasize that the language which was brought by this adorable person must be taught to the new and young generations.The role of Bektashi order in the religion, political and cultural life of Albanian people is significant.Almost in every town it could be found Bektashi lodge. But, unfortunately we don't have enoughinformation about the number of this lodges in XVIII and XIX centuries it's because of destroying of the sacred places in the period of oneparty regime.The Bektashi order in Albaniahas a particular characteristics. The Bektashi order among the people in Albania is the most likedand the most expanded sect. Even though Mehmet Âkif was not one of the intellectuals who gathered around the idea of pan-Turkism, he shared common ideas with pan-Turkists, such as saving the motherland and ideas of independence and progress. Since Mehmet Âkif put Islam, Mohammedanism, at the center of the concept of nationhood for a while, he dissociated himself from the prevalent movement of thought of the period, i.e. pan-Turkism, and criticized tribalism. Nevertheless, as a result of the sufferings of the era, the poet eventually began to give prominence to Turkish nationhood. Both the Turkish national anthem and his poem dedicated to the martyrs of the Gallipoli Campaign may be considered as growing evidence of this. This article focuses on Mehmet Âkif’s national conscience, which may help to understand the poet’s nationalism on a sounder basis. The purpose of this study is to identify the background to Mehmet Âkif’s national conscience and how it was reflected in his work. The Turks in this region brought and left material and spiritual culture which marks today are visible in the Balkan nations 2024-08-29 https://dergi.baltam.org/?mod=makale_tr_ozet&makale_id=70124 https://dergi.baltam.org/?mod=makale_tr_ozet&makale_id=70124 Bedrettin KORO Republic of Kosovo, which declared its independence in 17 February 2008 is the smallest and newest European state in Balkans covering the area of 10.908 km2and located in middle of Balkan peninsula. After the NATO intervention against Serbia as late as in 1999, education during UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) started to be conducted in four languages: Albanian, Turkish, Bosnian and Serbian.Education in Albanian, Turkish and Bosnian languages in Kosovo is regulated according to Kosovo Education System. While on the other hand, due to non-recognition of the UNMIK administration established in Kosovo in 1999 and subsequently the independence of Kosovo and 2008 Constitution by the Serbian community, it has been pursuing its education according to Serbian Education System.The aim of this paper is to address the place and importance of History of Republic of Turkey covered in the History course curricula and textbooks used in four language education in Republic of Kosovo. Following the introduction part providing general information on preuniversity education in Kosovo and upon analysis and comparison inthe body text of primary school history course curricula and textbooks prepared thereupon, the level of emphasis put on the place and importance of History of Republic of Turkey will be identified.
